Lauren A.'s Link on Indus Valley Civilization
The main idea of this link is expressed by the author is facts about the inhabitants of the Indus River Valley. The author's main purpose is to describe the ancient civilization in detail leading up to the decline and to question the unknown reason for the decline of this advanced Asian civilization. This article brings up many of the topics far more specifically than the textbook. The majority of the text is descriptive of the Indus River Vally civilians and their known achievements. However, this article analyzes the possible reasons for decline and uses evidence to reject or deny certain theories. This information was useful in providing specific information that can be used as details in the presentation. As well as, making the topic more understandable and interesting. The author's writing style is simple, detailed, and easy to understand.

The author’s purpose is to challenge common perceptions of the decline of the Indus River Valley Civilization. The article provides specific, detailed information on how climate change contributed to the collapse of this civilization. Studies have concluded that a decline in monsoon rains played a crucial role in the collapse of the Indus River Valley culture. Unpredictable monsoons contributed to a decline in cities and an increase in farming communities. The author uses research to explain how and why the Indus River Valley civilization slowly declined. When cities declined, and farming communities grew, it took thousands of years for this culture to collapse. This website is
very useful as it will provide a balanced perspective for students wishing to understand the topic of the decline of the Indus River Valley Civilization. This website provides detailed research on this ancient culture that will be very useful to students.

Sophie S.'s Link on a Veda
This link discusses the origins of the Vedas from archeologists and from Indian sages points of view. It also provides information and a brief summary of the four major Vedas. It goes on to give us more definitions and information on key aspects and terms related to the interpretation and format of Vedas. The link presents the information in a compact and understandable manner. It is well organized and easy to interpret. It gives a thorough evaluation and covers many different aspects of Vedas. The Vedas provide us with much of the information we now know about the Aryans. The link allows us to get a better understanding of what the Vedas are and therefore a better understanding of the importance of the Vedas.

The video on the early civilizations is important for researching the Indus Valley civilization, the Aryans, and other civilizations. The entire video is separated into separate topics, so there will not have to be any difficulties skipping to different parts of the video. It provides detailed descriptions about the culture, architecture, and infrastructure of the Indus Valley Civilization. The most important feature of the video is the live footage of the ancient remains of the civilization’s infrastructure. The video deliberately shows the high walls, the stones making the buildings and structures, and the organized format for the layout of streets. As well as the culture of the civilization, the video provides theories of the decline of the Indus Valley Civilization. The theory explains that the monsoons could have been the cause of the civilization’s decline. The monsoons were important to early civilizations and it is important to understand how they affected life in ancient times.
